Late Risers

Beloved Community

10:15 AM in Classroom 1

Leaders: Vicki Southworth & Brenda Boyd

Using the Bible and United Methodist Church resources, we will examine and discuss ways to be the hands, feet, and voice of Jesus in expanding God’s love and justice in our community.

Faithlink

10:30 AM in Classroom 14

Leader: Charles Vaughan

The New Covenant Faithlink class is a small group of Christians with a wide range of experiences and opinions discussing world and US issues, both religious and secular, in a respectful manner and from a faith-based perspective.

Spirited Singles & Friends

10:15 AM in Classroom 2

Leader: Jean Hollowell

Our class is open to both singles and those who attend church without partners or spouses. While we are primarily a group of singles, we also welcome couples who may wish to study with us.

Through Bible studies with well-known Christian authors, we seek to learn and apply Christian principles and values to our everyday lives.

All members are invited to enjoy fellowship and lunch/brunch at local restaurants following class.

Wesley Pathfinder Class

10:15 AM in Classroom 11

Leader: Carol Clark

The Old Testament tells of God’s creation and the redemption of his people. It is a story that climaxes in the New Testament but the New Testament cannot be understood apart from the Old Testament. Sometimes we neglect the study of the Old Testament because we find it confusing and distant from the gospel of Jesus Christ. Join this class to begin unpacking the story of God’s redeeming grace in new ways.

A Never-Ending Walk (ANEW)

10 AM in Classrooms 6 & 7

Leaders: Jim & Dell Scarlett

As Jesus Christ taught and demonstrated His love for us, our class strives to also demonstrate that love in our interactions with each other and our community. ANEW began as a study class in October 2005. We use the Adult Sunday Bible lessons.
